Short description of project activities:

To investigate the distribution and spreading of Larroussius (Diptera: Psychodidae) species, their population genetics and to reveal the resting microhabitats, seasonal and nocturnal activity and host-feeding preferences of the sand flies in the selected sampling sites.

Field collection, population biology and molecular taxonomy of the sand flies.
