We seek to appoint a Lecturer in Geographical Information Science. The successful candidate will be an outstanding individual who will enhance both our research and teaching profiles. We prefer candidates who can offer expertise in the development and/or advanced application of Geographical Information Systems together with thematic interests that complement and extend our existing areas of research expertise. We are particularly interested in candidates with interests in urban environments, urban environmental processes and/or ecosystem services.

This post represents a significant investment in the future of a dynamic department undertaking high quality research and teaching. Geography in Manchester was ranked 8th in the world by the 2014 QS rankings. Our innovative and thriving teaching programme is delivered to around 550 undergraduate and 90 postgraduate students.
